From Here to There Art Show

Our Sierra 7 Arts Alliance presents the traveling arts show in Alpine County!

Speaking of opening bashes, we have one coming on July 17!

“From Here to There,” the art show that has been traveling around our 7-county region, is arriving in Markleeville on July 13. A Jobs4CA Grant funded by the State is financing this unique, unifying venture.

And it’s a beauty!

The 32-piece show includes artworks from each of our Sierra 7 Arts Alliance counties (Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, Tuolemne), celebrating our places and cultures. Our county’s selected artists are: Ava Covington, Tia Plough, and Jill Trainer, whose works were chosen from the 164 submissions juried by the Executive Directors of all seven counties last winter.

You will be able to visit this amazing exhibit at the Alpine County Admin Building, beginning on July 16 and lingering through August 14 during regular business days and hours. But you won’t want to miss our big reveal party.

Put it on your calendar: Friday, July 17, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Free admission and hors d’veours. Family friendly!
